Cherokee Fire Stations to be Drop-off Point for Toys for Tots

November 17, 2020

Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services is honored to be serving as an official collection site for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.  This is our 8th year partnering with Toys for Tots, and are confident that, in this season of giving, our generous community will once again donate to help families in need.

In the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic, the demand for toys will be much greater this year, which means your donation is more important than ever.  Countless families have suffered financially, and many will not be able to provide new toys for their children this holiday season.

The magic of Christmas is reflected in the eyes of a child as they wake up on Christmas morning to a brightly wrapped gift of their very own.  Christmas morning should be time of great joy, and no child should ever wake up to find an empty tree. This is why your generous donations to the Toys for Tots program are so important.  You not only help make the season brighter for the children, but you will also give hope and encouragement to the parents knowing that there are people who care.

Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Services will be accepting toys at all county fire stations starting on Monday, November 16, 2020 through Friday, December 18th.

Covid-19 Drop Off Instructions:

To keep everyone safe during donation collections, we ask that you please continue to follow safety guidelines by maintaining social distancing and wearing a mask while dropping off your donations.

The drop boxes will be located inside the fire apparatus bay at each fire station. Fire department personnel will be more than happy to assist you in locating the drop boxes and collecting your donations. We do request that you call the individual fire station non-emergency number to arrange a drop off time with personnel.  Please see the attached list of station addresses and phone numbers.

If you are experiencing any symptoms of Covid-19, we ask that you please wait to drop off your donations when you are symptom free.

We sincerely thank you for your generosity and willingness to support your community.

If you would rather make a monetary donation, you can do so thru the Toys for Tots website at: https://north-atlanta-ga.toysfortots.org.
