Vehicle Flips Numerous Times, Driver OK

Cherokee County Fire & Emergency Fire & Emergency Services responded to a single vehicle accident this morning on Ball Ground Highway, just north of Northridge Road.

Cherokee County 911 received a call stating that a black vehicle had flipped numerous times and was upside down in a ditch.  The caller also stated that the driver was unconscious.  Approximately a minute later, it was reported that the driver was talking and was able to get out of the vehicle.

Engine 21 arrived on scene to assess the 39-year-old driver who was driving the black Mazda X.  

The driver did not appear to have any serious injuries.  The southbound lane of Ball Ground Highway was blocked until the automobile was removed.  The cause of the accident is under investigation.
