Local American Legion Post Honors Public Safety

The Thomas M. Brady Post #45 of the American Legion, located at 160 McClure Street in Canton, Georgia, honored public safety last Thursday night by presenting awards to firefighters and law enforcement officials.

At the conclusion of a wonderful meal, Post Commander, Raymond Rollins came forward and presented the following awards in the fire service. 

Battalion 1 Firefighter Award: Lt. Brady Cornelison

Battalion 2 Firefighter Award: Sgt. Nick Durham

Battalion 3 Firefighter Award: FAO Isaac Bjorklund

Volunteer Firefighter Award: Brice Futch

EMS Employee of the Year Award: Sgt. Dwayne Barbee

Fire Administration Award: Lisa Marie Wright

Special Operations Award: Bill Hesketh

Explorer of the Year Award: Gabriel Shull
